Micro Fiction: Never Mind
Picture from an old scrapbook of sketches & poetry |
“Do
you love me?”
She
raised her head and found his deep brown eyes boring into hers. The corners of
her lips quivered. All the turbulent emotions she’d felt through the last six
months, how was she supposed to fit them into a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer. There
were just so many things she wanted to tell him.
They
had been lovers once, but they fell apart. She had tried her best and now they
were friends. She smiled, wondering how to gently tell him every single thought
running through her head. She didn’t want to lose him.
“Never
mind”
Rich writing style. :)
