About Aniesha

Aniesha Brahma has had a blog since 2008. Started off as a poetry blog called, "A Rainfall of Words", last year Aniesha made several other blogs for Flash Fiction & Reviews. Finally bringing them all together under one single roof: "Aniesha's Musings", in 2013.

Aniesha's Musings is her personal space where every musing is stemmed from a thought that might have struck her at the oddest of times. She also believes in blogging for social causes. She blogs about Motivational Mondays and advises people about writing. She is also a lover of cats.

She completed her Bachelor of Arts and her Masters of Arts in Comparative Literature, from Jadavpur University.

She was schooled in Dolna Day School where she first discovered her passion for writing.

She has written innumerable poems, a handful of short stories and has had her own novel, The Secret Proposal published by General Press in 2012.

She self-published her second novel, The Guitar Girl via Kindle Direct Publishing in April 2015.

Her third novel(la), When Our Worlds Collide will be published by General Press in 2015.

Her fourth book, Sparks of Memories, is going to be released in 2015-2016, published by LiFi Publications.

Her short story, Eye of the Evil, inspired from the fairy tale Snow White was selected by LiTreasure to be published in their very first anthology.

She recently won the Editor's Pick for Romance in the Short Story Competition organized by IndiReads.

Aniesha has a MPhil degree in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University. She also interned for Hope Foundation, Kolkata.

She is a member of Kolkata Bloggers and an amazing blogger's group called, "Coup d'East."

Currently, Aniesha works with BEE Books, a Kolkata-based publishing house, and works as a freelance writer, editor, and proofreader.

Bibliotheque is her book blog where she rants about books, reviews books, hosts blog tours for b00k r3vi3ws, writes about her favorite characters from fiction. She discusses the worlds that her own characters live in, about the writing process and other fun facts about her own books in her personal blog, Aniesha's Musings.

Aniesha is also Founder and Editor-in-Chief of BUZZ Magazine
