Cartoons & Sketches

I've wanted to illustrate this quote for a really long time. But didn't get the chance until my Monday lunch break. Maybe if we have too much time on our hands, we don't use it wisely and end up a putting ourselves in a bad mood because we over thought things that shouldn't have bothered us in the first place? Who knows. Let me know your thoughts on the illustration and the quote.

And it's Tuesday and I tried to make another little cartoon today. The words have been borrowed from Simple Plan's Perfectly Perfect song. As usual, I love the lyrics and hence my love towards the song. 😊
Do listen to the song if you haven't already. Here's hoping you have a wonderful week ahead.

It's #WriterWednesday and here's the third #doodle for this week. Here's hoping I keep doing this for the rest of the week. 😊 It honestly feels so good to take a ten minute break from life. The lyrics are from Chainsmokers feat. Coldplay 'Something Just Like This'

It's Thursday. Here's the fourth doodle of the week. This time I chose to illustrate a quote I had chanced upon once upon a time. The very essence of the quote is that of #hope. Because no matter what is happening in our lives at the moment, we can be sure that everything would end happily. It could be two years from now or it could be more than that. The point is life moves in its perfect timing. You cannot compare yours to someone else's. Your story could be at chapter one and someone else's could be at chapter twenty. So if you're going through a bad time, #chinupprincess your happy ending is just around the corner!

"Because we realized that the person who left us did not take the sun with them or leave darkness in their place. They simply left, and with every farewell comes a hidden hope."
- Paulo Coelho, Manuscript Found in Accra.
...When I first read this book in 2013, it was helping me get over a broken heart. It's 2017 now and I have realized that my heart isn't as fragile as I had once thought it to be. I'm not entirely sure why this world keeps mistaking kindness and goodness for weakness. *Sigh* Maybe this world isn't made for the #hopelessromantics like me. But I won't give up on the #hope that there are people who will come into your life stay. That there are people who can love you #forever. Maybe I will get my heartbroken many times over until I can finally find my #happilyeverafter. But there are already too many mediocre things in life, #love really shouldn't be one of them. 😊
